The Konoha Academy

Well. Konohagakure has a lot of untapped force. I've decided to attempt to give each of the Genin in Konoha [at least of those that are willing to work] and edge. The following training classes will give a specific boost to each participant. I will attempt to get as many classes as I can provide for those who are willing. The classes will consist of three people per one teacher. Those who wish to be teachers may PM me. The classes will run as long as needed, but a participant must make it to the end of the thread to receive the benefits. If a participant drops from the thread, it is the responsibility of the teacher to continue. A participant will be given three days to post and, if they do not post within that time, they will be dropped and the thread will continue without them.

The classes will be separated by subject. The subjects will be numbered [1-5]. Through this system subjects may be combined and interchanged. Upon the skill of the teachers it is, conceivably, possible to receive two benefits for a single class session. A Genin may only take one [for right now] class at maximum. These classes will not be offered to Chuunin and up. The subjects are outlined as follows. This will only be a baseline. I will make edits as necessary.

Available Subjects

| Subject 1 | - A session of Ninjutsu training, focusing on chakra use and capacity. Benefit received upon completion - The student who completes this class will receive an increase in ability to use chakra and their control. This must be added to the student's jutsu list:

Descriptions: Upon completion of a Subject 1 course at the Academy, this shinobi is granted greater control of their chakra. They will be able to use their chakra at a highly efficient level and will waste little of their chakra with mistakes. This will grant them, specifically, a greater ability to use and continue using Ninjutsu attacks of all shapes, sizes, and forms. While this does not grant them superhuman chakra control, it gives them a slight edge over the average Genin.

| Subject 2 | - A session of Taijutsu training focusing on strength and overall ability. Benefit received upon completion - The student who completes this class will receive greater strength in the realm of Taijutsu. They will be able to hit harder and slightly faster than the normal Genin.

Descriptions: Upon completion of a Subject 2 course at the Academy, this shinobi is granted a greater affinity with Taijutsu. The student will be able to punch faster and harder than most Genin, giving them a slight edge. They will, additionally, have slightly increased speed and endurance associated with movements. They will also be slightly more agile and lithe. Completely this training grants the student a slight advantage over the normal Genin in the realm of Taijutsu.

| Subject 3 | - A session of Genjutsu training focusing on the reality of general Genjutsu and the length of duration. Benefit received upon completion - The student who completes this class will receive a greater strength in the realm of Genjutsu. They will be able to use slightly more powerful Genjutsu at the same chakra cost.

Description: Upon completion of a Subject 3 course at the Academy, this shinobi is granted a greater affinity with Genjutsu. For two of their previously made Genjutsu, the duration of the attack will be increased by one post. The Genjutsu may only be C-Ranked and will be permanently granted this increase in duration. If a shinobi does not apply this bonus to any C-Ranked Genjutsu immediately, they may hold off the benefits until later or, even further, when they're Chuunin. However, they will still only be able to apply it to C-Ranked Genjutsu.

Description: Upon completion of a Subject 3|1 course at the Academy, this shinobi is granted a mild resistance to general Genjutsu. While by no means making them immune to Genjutsu, re-exposure to many Genjutsu will allow them to better overcome the effects and work through them. The Genjutsu resistance will only apply to Genjutsu that affect some sensory aspects. Those sensory aspects would include feelings (nausea, confusion, etc.), hearing-related, or touch-related. Perception Genjutsu will usually have full-effects.

| Subject 4 | - A session of Kenjutsu training focusing on power, speed, and accuracy. Benefit received upon completion - The student who completes this class will receive one of the three following Kenjutsu techniques. The techniques may be applied to any weapon, within reason, and can be used for all intensive purposes. They, additionally, will also have a slight advantage over other normal Genin.

Description: Upon completion of a Subject 4 course at the Academy, this shinobi is granted the ability to use this technique. This technique compromises the use of a bladed or blunt weapon. The user will, first, release a large slew of kunai, shuriken, or senbon at the opponent. From their, the use will initiate a Henge, transforming the kunai, shuriken, or senbon into whatever they wish. The projectiles will then begin to fall and strike at the opponent. However, when they hit, they will release a large cloud of smoke as well as returning to their original shape. At this moment the user will then appear behind the target, who will largely be unaware unless noted by a specific ability, and strike the opponent. An element may be integrated with this technique.

Description: Upon completion of a Subject 4 course at the Academy, this shinobi is granted the ability to use this technique. This techniques compromises the use of a bladed weapon. The user will extend their blade forward, setting one hand against their body, and throw it. The sword will head directly toward the target at high speeds, most likely causing the opponent to dodge. When this happens, the user will reveal that the thrown blade is only a simple Henge of a kunai or some other object. The user will then reveal the true weapon and attack the opponent, capitalizes on the element of surprise. An element may be integrated with this technique.

Description: Upon completion of a Subject 4 course at the Academy, this shinobi is granted the ability to use this technique. This technique compromises the use of any relatively lightweight upon. Upon handling a weapon, speed is very important. Through using this jutsu and stimulating muscles directly associated with Kenjutsu offensive moves and defensive moves, the skill of the user can greatly increase. However, as a trade-off, their ability to use other non-related movements and muscle groups will be slightly diminished. This techniques provides for faster and harder strikes above the norm. Whereas a regular strike would simply give an opponent a small cut, under the influence of this jutsu that small cut can become a large gash. An element may be integrated with this technique.

| Subject 5 | - A session of Medical Arts training that focuses on base Medical techniques to aid shinobi while in the field. Benefit received upon completion - The student who completes this class will receive one of the two following Medical-nin techniques. A shinobi does not need to be a Med-nin or the desire to become a Med-nin to take this class or learn the following techniques.

Description: Upon completion of a Subject 5 course at the Academy, this shinobi is granted a base knowledge of medicinal herbs out in the field. By studying a large base of comprehensive knowledge, the user has gained the ability to properly identify and use the most common medicinal herbs on the continent. This ability can be quite useful is proper medical supplies are not available. Unfortunately, finding proper herbs is very dependent upon location. For clarification, this is only a base understanding of some herbs. Creating antidotes for poisons or other such practices are too high level for training such as this.

Description: Upon completion of a Subject 5 course at the Academy, this shinobi is granted the knowledge of this simple healing technique. The user uses his chakra on his wound to make the blood cells there coagulate quickly. Unlike the more complicated healing jutsus which create new cells altogether, this one simply speeds up the natural healing process, stopping the bleeding quickly when normally it would take many hours, maybe even days depending on the wound. The wound still remains but the bleeding stops, though sometimes only partially for deeper and more difficult wounds. It goes quickly for small wounds but larger ones need a couple of minutes to finish the coagulation. It can also be used on wounded allies.
